Runner training at Fix Body Group will prepare your athletes for the season at San Diego’s most advanced and prestigious training and recovery facility in San Diego.

Running and Cross Country camps at Fix Body Group are directed by Jonathan Pierce. His personal running record is one of the best among his peers. The cross country program applies a science based methodology to maximize effectiveness in all areas of cross country. Camps are open to students aged 13-19 and we incorporate the appropriate programming, nutrition and recovery.


What you will learn at the cross country camp to maximum results:

Sprints

Learn start and acceleration technique, maximum velocity sprint mechanics, relay exchange work and Olympic lifting and technique to enhance strength and power.

Distance
Focus of camp is not on training volume, but instead on learning the proper mechanics and how to reprogram the nervous system to enhance running economy and reduce oxygen consumption. Learn proper distance training techniques to prevent injury.

Recovery
Get access, knowledge and treatment in the latest of sports medicine. From chiropractic, to active release technique, fascial stretching, taping, cold laser and cryo therapy are among a few of the recovery aspects that each camper has access to. Performance is only as good as your recovery.
