New in 2014, the Central Florida Gliders Track Club is offering an elite middle distance summer track program for high school juniors and seniors looking to boost their school year PRs to meet university standards.  Elite high school sophomores, freshmen and rising freshmen are also welcome.

The program will run from May 11 to August 2 (12 weeks) and culminate with peak performances at the AAU National Club Championships in Orlando, FL July 9-13 and AAU Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, IA July 25-August 2.

Program Objectives:
1. To improve season best 800, 1600 or 3200m times by at least 2, 4 or 8 seconds, respectively.
2. To educate athletes on current middle distance training principles, so they understand the what, when, why and how of their workouts.

University Scholarship Standards:

The following table will give you an idea of the performance times required to meet scholarship and walk-on standards.  Keep in mind that the standards at the top schools may be higher.
