Sisters, Oregon, provides the perfect location for a cross country running camp. Not only is Sisters Country one of the most beautiful places on earth, but within a few miles of town there are spectacular trails ranging from 3,000 to over 6,000 feet elevation, from completely flat to insanely steep. This allows our experienced coaches to provide a fantastic variety of exciting and challenging workouts to fit any runner’s ability level.

The camp will feature a variety of workouts tailored to build strength, speed, and endurance with a great balance of high altitude, hills, and flat runs

Our team has a scientific approach to training and understand how to structure the week to include work, rest, recreation, and recovery to give maximum benefit to participants.

What Our Camp Offers

Our camp philosophy is to challenge athletes through multiple training sessions in their sport each day. Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of physically challenging outdoor adventures including rafting, hiking, camping, and canoeing. Each day will feature an educational component including sports science training techniques, nutrition tips, and rehabilitation information athletes can implement into their training.

Work Hard

Athletes will be expected to work hard. It is our goal to challenge athletes to strive for greatness and teach them valuable techniques they can apply to their training long after leaving camp.

Play Hard

We enjoy what we do and we feel it is essential that every kid looks back on their time at the Great Northwest Sports Camps as a fun experience. For this reason we will maintain a healthy mix of hard work and memorable fun activities designed to build camaraderie.

A Bigger Experience

GNW sports camps hosts multiple sports in the same week. Participants will be part of a camp experience bigger than just their sport. They’ll meet elite athletes from across the Pacific Northwest.

Great Trails

Many trails are accessible right from town, and run for miles through the hills. Others can be accessed by a short van ride. Through both paths, the experience will be unrivaled.
