Boys and girls ages 12-18 will learn the fundamentals necessary for efficient running. Drills to improve proper mechanics and form will be incorporated daily. A combination of distance and speed training will be utilized to help each runner prepare for his or her cross-country season. Mini clinics will be taught by staff and guest speakers to help campers learn applicable training theory, drills and functional core strength.
Overnight Camp features several instructional sessions per day, three hot meals, and lodging in the College residence halls. An evening recreation program is also included.
Extended Day Campers (9:00am-9:00pm) - Local campers have the option to commute to camp. This option offers the same features as the resident camp minus lodging. The commuter dropoff pick-up times as well as locations will be indicated in the camp itinerary.
