Have you ever run in New Paltz, NY? It's a special place that features hundreds of miles of carriage roads, trails, and dirt roads all within a short run or drive from downtown - where the college is located.
Our camp is geared toward high school runners and teams that want to run on scenic, soft surfaces to prepare for the coming school year.
NPRC strives to strike a balance between the hard work required to excel in running with activities that both educate and motivate. Mix in some fun, games, and relaxation and campers will leave with a truly unique experience.
All runs will be on soft, even surfaces and will take place entirley on the Wallkill Rail Trail, Mononk Preserve, Lake Minnewaska State Park, The Awosting Preserve, and the grounds of the Mohonk Mountain House.
Post-run creek soaks every day, a long run and picnic at the beach at Lake Minnewaska, and instruction from staff members that have dedicated their lives to running and fitness are just some of the highlights campers will enjoy.
Come find out why so many runners who have trained in Colorado and the mountain regions out West call New Paltz "the best place to run on the east coast".
