2014 was my first year at GSRC, and I couldn't have had a better week. I made so many friends, ran scenic trails, and went on many cooling post-run swims. I can definitely say that my confidence in my running abilities improved 100%, and I now know how much I can push myself. Besides the running, I had a great social experience, and felt comfortable with everyone there, as if I had made friends with all 100 campers. I will definitely be returning to GSRC next year!

Granite State Running Camp is a great way to improve your running. This camp helps runners of all levels come together and learn more about running, training techniques, team bonding, etc. Every year there are several speakers that come and talk about topics such as ways to reduce stress, marathons, and how to prepare for races. There are a lot of coaches on staff and you are able to get one-on-one help and instructions when needed. This camp is the best! :)

I have attended Granite State for the past three years with my team. Every summer we look forward to the unique experience that Coley and his staff provide for all the campers. This camp gives an excellent opportunity for team bonding but also to branch out beyond one's team and meet other runners from all over. The runs themselves are challenging but well planned around great trails, and the groups are tailored to levels of running making sure no one overworks themselves. All speakers at the camp are knowledgable and aim their talks at improving the campers, along with a prominent speaker full of stories, which included Nate Jenkins last year. Bottom line is end your camp search here. GSRC is an inviting and welcoming environment that bests any camp.

Athletes from the team I coach have attended Granite State running camp for the last several years; and as with many of the runners who attended the camp, I could not be happier with the approach that Coley and his staff take to create a remarkable experience. They do a great job of serving the needs of athletes at all levels-from those who have goals of being competitive at the divisional and state level to runners growing into the sport. The staff keeps open channels of communication with coaches, though at this point, the staff has gained my complete trust in providing an educational, rigorous, and positive experience for the athletes.

I have been a camper at Granite State Running Camp for three summers and I can honestly say that I look forward to camp all year long. If it was possible for me to be a camper at GSRC for another year I would absolutely jump at the opportunity. This is a camp that is great for athletes of all skill levels and has amazing coaching staff to help campers further develop their abilities. This camp is a perfect balance of great summer training, education about the history or our sport and ways to improve ourselves as athletes, and free time to have fun! Unlike some other camps, Granite State running camp is a more relaxed camp where you never feel like anyone is trying to outdo one another, everyone is just there for some awesome summer training. I have made many amazing friendships that I never would have made if I had not attended this camp. I recommend GSRC to any high school cross country team looking for some awesome preseason team bonding or any runner looking to improve!

I was never a camper at this camp; I was only ever a counselor. I have nothing but great things to say about this camp and Coley, the head coach. The kids come excited and motivated to do great things and have fun, and given its location (NH White Mountains and Lakes Region), they have the opportunity to do and see things that they wouldn't otherwise. The other counselors and I take great pride in making this the best week of the summer for them, and the kids leave happy and excited about their coming seasons. The most important part of the camp is that it's an environment where everyone is happy and motivated. Anyone can come in and join and have a fantastic time; if someone wants to mope about, they're going to really have to put forth a laudable effort to do so. Coley is a phenomenal leader and coach. He prepares for this camp 51 weeks of the year; his life is about making sure this one week is the best it can be.

Granite State Running Camp provides a fantastic experience for athletes looking to further their abilities and talents. The staff has routinely shown expertise in adapting to campers' needs throughout the week. The runs are varied in length, and the groups are formed in a way that ensures all fitness levels can fully participate. With engaging guest speakers, breakout sessions that cover many aspects of running, runs that challenge the skills of all campers, and staff that accompany each group on every outing, campers always leave with greater knowledge and appreciation of the sport. Not a year goes by without positive feedback from our campers on how their cross-country/track seasons are going or how many of them still keep in touch throughout the year. GSRC is not an experience to be missed and is a great place to learn for any athlete.

I have gone to GSRC for the past two summers and it has been a fabulous experience both times!!! The staff are well trained and are enthusiastic to share their knowledge with the runners. There have been cross country coaches, sports medicine majors, professional runners and nutritionist on staff...It's a great way to prepare for the cross country season and prevent injuries. Everyone, campers included, are very welcoming and it's easy to make new friends. After camp, the GSRC stays in touch and it's a great way to stay motivated throughout the season. The trails are beautiful and it's so much fun to go to soak holes after the afternoon runs!! Coach Coley does a fabulous job at making sure the environment is good for runners who are just starting to others who are very seasoned...you never feel pressured to run farther than you feel prepared for, and whether your afternoon run is 4 miles or 11 everyone meets up at the same lake/stream afterwards! Overall, you learn so much from the experience about running and HOW to run effectively and safely. The food is great and if I wasn't graduating, I'd definitely be back at GSRC this summer!!

Granite State Running Camp offers an experience than cannot be replicated by other, larger running camps. The relatively small size creates excellent camper/staff ratios, and when you combine this with world-class speakers/coaches, each camper receives personal attention that is unparalleled. The Granite State Running Camp experience is the culmination of a beautiful locale, scenic runs, first-rate running education, personalized nightly entertainment/events, great food, and building new relationships with great people. As a staff member, I can attest to this based on the high percentage of returning campers as well as the raving reviews we receive every year at the end of the week. I keep coming back (5th year staffer) because of the overwhelmingly positive effect that camp has on budding and seasoned runners, alike.........and I have no problem using my one week of vacation time each year, either! Granite State Running Camp will help young runners achieve the goals they aspire to in the following seasons and is 100% recommended to ANYONE that wants to take their running experience to the next level!

I went to Granite State to learn how to run faster than ever before, to beat my opponents and win the conference. This was a success. But this was merely the basics of what GSRC has provided me. Through the camp I have been fortunate enough to gain life long friends. The lessons I learned and the knowledge I gained at Granite State have been invaluable in my collegiate running career. In addition, I was blessed to meet some terrific counselors and coaches who have gone out of their way to help me in whatever way I needed. I cannot put into words the tremendous experience I had attending Granite State Running Camp and hope that others can do the same.

Over the past three summers I have attended Granite State Running Camp and had the time of my life. This camp has helped me improve my running on so many levels and really taught me a way to work hard and still truly love running. I can personally say that attending this camp has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I have made friends that I talk to all year round and memories that will last a lifetime. I cant say enough about my experience at Granite State Running Camp and hope to continue the memories this upcoming summer as a counselor.

Having attended Granite State Running Camp for two years, I can hands down say it is my favorite week of the year. Becoming a better runner while also making so many new friends every year is a blast. It's a great camp for runner's of any speed and has enough staff so that every camper gets adequate individual attention and training. If I could go back as a camper again, I would in a heartbeat. The camp offers great speakers every year, and I have learned so much. Getting the best running advice from some of the best runners has molded me into the athlete I am today. The camp is is one of a kind, and so are the lifelong friends that are made every year. I highly recommend Granite State Running Camp to anyone with an interest in running. You can't go wrong with this camp led by Coach Coley, he makes the camp a real experience to remember.

Granite State Running Camp is a fantastic opportunity for runners of all abilities to come together to learn more about their sport in a fun, inclusive atmosphere. As a former attendee, I can attest to the level of professional instruction provided by the high quality coaches, as well as the one-on-one instruction that is missing from many of the larger camps. You'll work hard if you come to GSRC, but that isn't what you'll remember. You'll remember all the people you met and and the fun you had during your free time and the nightly activities. I highly recommend GSRC to runners of all abilities. If you want to improve your performance and meet some tremendous people, you should go to GSRC.

Coming to Granite State Running Camp is easily the best thing you can do to take your cross country season to the next level. As a previous attendee, I benefited immensely from the one-on-one instruction I received from the coaches and staff. I went with my team, and between the mileage, the games, and the breakout talks we all definitely grew closer to one another. As a Junior Counselor, I am now able to appreciate the work that goes into running this camp (no pun intended). The staff is totally dedicated to helping runners improve mentally and physically while building a community that functions all year long. These are the experiences you'll talk about with your team for the entire year as you anticipate another week at Granite State Running Camp.

Granite State Running Camp offers a great way to get ready for cross country season. The camp features athletes and coaches from around New England and serves beginning and experienced runners. In addition to an excellent program of running, this camp covers all key aspects of training, including core strength training, the mental preparation necessary for success, and the importance of teammwork and goal setting. In addition, there are daily social and recreational activities, and the opportunity to relax and have fun. The staff are enthusiastic and dedicated, and I look forward to this week away every year! Come join us in the woods of New Hampshire for a great week of training!

I have attended Granite State camp only one year and I've never felt more at home! The coaches and other counselors are all well known to my home town and with this camp their amazing legacies live on in every camper. I have not once learned more in one week than at this camp, with its daily talks and lessons. Thanks to camp, my abilities improved immensely. My problem was all mental, and it changed. The trails are beautiful, jumping in the water holes is fun after a long run, the food is excellent, and the campers are all so friendly. Granite State works with athletes of all levels and doesn't leave anyone in the dust. Now with a sponsorship from saucony, you get great training, education, and sweet spikes for the coming season. If you were to choose a camp, it would be the friendly, hardworking, fum granite state running camp. Coach Coley truly makes the experience one of a kind and he shares it with everyone!
